(hereinafter referred to as 'Xiansheng Internet'), Xiansheng Internet is the earliest team engaged in voice enhancement and far talk voice interaction interface technology, and has provided far talk voice interaction software and hardware solutions for Ali, Baidu, Xiaomi and other companies.

Ali said the acquisition was small, mainly for technology and talent, and the specific amount was not disclosed. It is understood that with Ali's strategic layout on the chip, there will also be more progress on voice dedicated chips in the future.

At the same time, Dr. Fu Qiang, founder of CSM Internet and former researcher of the Institute of Acoustics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, recently joined the Machine Intelligence Technology Laboratory of Ali Damo Institute, responsible for the research and development of front-end processing technology and solutions for voice interaction. At the same time, there are a number of senior experts from the founding team of Xiansheng Internet, most of them are Fu Qiang's original team in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and one is from the famous Dolby Laboratories.

According to reports, Fu Qiang and his team have created a number of domestic firsts in areas such as voice enhancement, and even broken foreign technology monopolies. Founder Fu Qiang has more than 20 years of speech signal processing research and development experience, engaged in post-doctoral work in OGI and other speech research institutions in the United States, and led the completion of dozens of scientific research projects of national and provincial ministries and commissions of the National Natural Science and Technology Foundation, including IEEE Trans. Nearly 100 papers have been published in international authoritative academic journals, nearly 20 invention patents, and many achievements have been listed by relevant ministries and commissions.

In early April, Ali announced its full entry into the Internet of Things. Fu Qiang led the acoustic team to join, which will become an important part of Ali IoT scene landing. After joining Fu Qiang, he will integrate resources, promote the scene landing of voice recognition technology, and form a commercial solution that combines soft and hard and integrates cloud. He will also set up two physical acoustics laboratories.

Previously, Ali wholly-owned acquisition of the mainland's only independent embedded CPU IP Core company Zhongtian Micro, many technologies are also for the IoT field.
