2016 Strongest tie-up -AD Announces Acquisition of LINEAR

AD and LINEAR announced on July 26, 2016 that they had entered into a definitive agreement for Analog Devices to acquire Linear Technology in a cash and stock transaction with a combined market value of approximately $30 billion. Upon completion of the acquisition, Analog Devices will become the world's premier leading analog technology company with projected annual revenues of nearly $5 billion.


Under the terms of the agreement, upon closing, Stockholders of Linear Technology common stock will receive $46 in cash and 0.2321 shares of Analog Devices common stock per share. In connection with the transaction, Line Technology shares are valued at approximately $60 per share (1), representing an equity value of approximately $14.8 billion (1).
